The word ‘Dzi’, as shown in the red Horyig seal script, is arranged to resemble a precious decorated onyx stone. Such beads are coveted in Tibet. The word ‘Dzi’ translates as ‘shine with splendor’. The text at the base of the piece translates as ‘Blaze with majestic brilliance’.
