Illuminated Iconographic Tibetan Calligraphy

With the third and more recent category, Tashi has developed an approach employing powerful iconic images of Tibetan sacred art. These pieces are illuminated in full colour, Tibetan calligraphy dance with Iconographic images, to communicate to a deeper level, exploring Buddhist Philosophical themes. These pieces have moved away from the traditional black Chinese ink on a white ground to the use of full colour Acrylic paint, gold and silver leaf.
